BELL CYCLING ACCESSORIES: FLOOR PUMPS
A range of Bell bike floor pumps for the mass market. Three price-points were created to fulfil the high to low price-points as set in each brief.
To differentiate the three pumps, the lower end of the range had only an ABS foot stand and handle, the second price-point pump included a lower positioned gauge and the first price-point had a metal stamped plate attached to the foot base, a metal insert inside the handle and a pressure gauge up top. Two different pump heads, different barrel colourways and various graphic designs were also created to separate the three options out.
The design of these pump involved a lot of consideration on the assembly and construction of these during mass production, as some parts were shared in the end as a cost saving.
