EASTON LACROSSE PROTECTIVE LINE - STEALTH RS: GOALIE CHEST PROTECTOR, SHOULDER PADS, ELBOW PADS & ARM GUARDS
A new sport category under EASTON Sports. Lacrosse, a growing sport in the US, is expanding our protective expertise into this fast-paced sport.
Products included helmets, LAX heads and shafts, which, for the protective side, encapsulated a light-weight, low-profile shoulder pad and shoulder pad liner, a goalie chest pad, elbow pads, elbow guards and arm guards. All of these were ground-up designed, using our expertise from Ice Hockey and Baseball protective knowledge.
ROLE: Developer/ Tech-Packs/ Material sourcing/ Factory communication
Designed by the Montreal design team, the work collaborated upon was on the development side, creating tech-packs, 3D CAD, size grading, sample/ fit development/ construction feedback, material sourcing, quality control and visits to factories to review and test samples.
The work included transitioning from the first initial factory manufacturer to another factory due to lower costs and quicker development lead times.
